Here is a step by step look at our roping technique for a large branch above a garage.
In the above pictures you see the climber wear tree spikes. He is getting into position to cut a large piece in the first picture. A rope is placed on the piece to help control the direction that it will fall in the second picture. In the third picture he is cutting a smaller piece with the same technique.
In this picture the climber is using a two rope climbing technique with a saddle to secure himself in place.
